From Data to Knowledge: Unlocking the Power of Data for Project Success

Abstract:
“Data is the new oil” has become a popular refrain for the digital age where data-driven and evidence-based practices have a significant impact on organizational capabilities, to make more informed business decisions, improve operational efficiency, and gain a competitive advantage.

With project managers required to make critical project decisions on a daily basis, while projects in most cases remain falling short to deliver on their promises, a data-driven approach to project management using the capabilities of data analytics is needed more than ever.

But while data analytics and modern technology promise to significantly improve project management performance, just adding data and technology into the mix is insufficient and would do more harm than good. To unlock data-driven and evidence-based project delivery practices, project professionals and decision-makers need to adopt new behaviours and transition to a culture and mindset that provide an environment of authenticity, transparency, and honesty.

Effectively, project leaders need to become more adaptive and informed leaders to successfully enable the powerful capabilities of data and evidence-based practices for improved project outcomes.

In this webinar, we will look at the often unknown and harder-to-quantify keys that are critical for the next generation of project management.
