Projects in Meteorological infrastructure Capability Development: Improving Countries Response to Weather Hazards

Sergio Barrak is engineer with a decade of experience in project management. He graduated from UNIFEI in Brazil and began his career in the Telecom industry before moving on to the Oil and Gas industry, where he worked as a field engineer for six years in Brazil. He moved then to Norway to coordinate drilling campaigns, which happened for the next nine years.

Most recently, Sergio has applied his expertise to delivering weather systems in the environmental industry. These systems include weather stations for airports and meteorological sites such as vessels, refineries, and platforms.

Additionally, Sergio is involved in an infrastructure development project, where he is contributing to the delivery of country's integrated meteorological network.

Ren-Gas first green hydrogen and e-methane projects are currently in permitting phase with construction starting in late 2023.

 

Saara has over 15 years of experience in international power project development, having developed independent power plant and LNG-to-power projects in Asia. She is a passionate leader in energy transition, with global experience in business development for green transition. She is also an author of a book on the role of wind energy in the transition towards renewable energy systems.  Saara holds a MSc in Industrial engineering and energy markets.
