Bridging the Gap — Steering AI Adoption: The Transforming Role of Project Professionals in a Human-Centric Era
Description
Artificial Intelligence represents a transformative shift — a clear transition from early experimentation and hype toward maturity, governance, and tangible value. However, despite rising investments and increasing regulatory pressure, many AI initiatives remain stuck in continuous pilot phases, unable to generate real business outcomes.
Why? Because success in AI is not just about algorithms. It is fundamentally about people, structured approaches, and disciplined delivery.
The session will explore the broader AI ecosystem, including business cases, key market trends, institutional shifts, and recurring failure patterns identified through consulting firms and academic research.
Participants will further be introduced to the PMI Certified Professional in Managing AI (PMI-CPMAI)™ framework, providing project professionals with a pragmatic, phase-oriented structure to manage the end-to-end AI lifecycle — from business objectives and data readiness to deployment and operationalization, while embedding ethics, accountability, and trust across the organization.
The future belongs to trailblazers who do more than deploy AI — those who understand, guide, and scale it with purpose, governance, and delivery precision.
Whether advising clients or driving internal AI transformations, attendees will gain practical, actionable insights to bridge the gap between concept and real-world value delivery.
Because “behind every algorithm, there is a choice — and behind every choice, a human.”
