Lunch, Share, Learn and Grow (LSLG)

PMI Finland Chapter created this activity for our members and interested individuals in Project Management to learn and contribute with our community. The idea is to gather together with colleagues at work, during the lunch, break or meeting to discuss about a specific topic, suggested by the chapter or proposed by the mediator or group. The mediator will review the discussion and register it and share with the Chapter. We also hope we can share your ideas in our page and newsletter. The attendees need also to approve if they want to share their names in the article. The mediator needs to add their names and email in order to receive the attendance certificate. This activity is estimated to last 1 hour, making all the participants eligible to claim up to 1 PDU.

Rules

  1. We need one volunteer with the chapter membership in good standing. He/She will organize the discussion around a topic;
  2. We recommend a group of maximum 6 people. They don’t need to be member of PMI, Finland Chapter;
  3. The group members should have some experience about the topic to enrich argumentation and ideas;
  4. The mediator will register the discussion, take necessary notes and feed a form we will provide (either Word or Chapter Webpage)
  5. The mediator will be eligible to claim PDUs, in addition to the group activity, for organizing and putting the notes together for the Chapter;
    1. The expected work time is about 30 min, or 0.5 PDUs, up to 1 hour
  6. We will review the notes, contact you if we need any clarifications and share your work;
    1. We plan to share the mediator’s name in the article; other persons of the group can opt in or out to disclose their names
  7. Everyone who attended the LSLG will receive a certificate from PMI Finland Chapter.
  8. The member who organized the meeting can claim PDUs under Giving Back, then Volunteer.
