Irene has more than 30 years of combined experience in IT Operations, Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance, Project Management, Quality and Excellence
models, and ISO Audit.

In her current capacity as Cyber Policy Expert at a DESC, she conducts international benchmarking and policy and standards development. As the Co-founder of WiCSME, she is engaged in its activities that support women and girls in their professional growth. As Partnership Lead at WiCSME, she collaborates with conference organizers to increase women participation and presence as speakers, panelists, or Conference Advisory Board.

Irene has received several accolades which include the Middle East Top 30 CISO’s, Middle East Security Awards – Woman Executive, and the 100 Most Influential Filipinas in the World, Most Innovative Security Project (London), The Filipino Times IT Professional of the Year, Stevie
